My delicious flesh, in the quiet medieval hilltop village of Toffia (IT), I position myself amid a 13th century fresco inside the de-consecrated church now turned theatre space, adjacent to where I find myself residing for a month long residency with 33OC. A performance of my body's inability to tolerate mosquito bites. I prepare for the day, with an intake of antibiotics, probiotics, antihistamines, an application of antiseptic spray, hydrocortisone cream and insect repellent, on top of my usual dose of sertraline and vitamins.
